Bart,

My friend Gilles just finished a pair of speakers inspired by the Shindo Latour. They are 10 cm larger than the Petite Latour. But they use a 38 cm ( Altec 416-8B) driver instead of the 30 cm of the Petite Latour. The compression driver is the fabulous TAD2001. Very transparent high eff speakers that will sing with a set of 300B's. 10 Watts are more than enough for them. Maybe you should have a week end at the Mont Saint Michel and pay to Gilles a visit.
I also have to come to hear your beautiful system at last !!

Jérôme, you certainly have to come!
We'll keep the champagne cool.

Regarding the speakers of Gilles, they sounded absolutely great at your place.
I preferred them over the big Harbeths.
If he works a bit more on his cabinets, Meta might approve.

Thanks Bart ! It will be a pleasure.
Well you know a wood box is a wood box. Gilles could have them lacquered. But as we say in France :
"Peu importe le flacon pourvu qu'on ait l'ivresse" !

Jérôme, I am with you.
But Meta might be a bit less so.

I sent you a PM.
