Thank you cisco,
you won't believe it but these bridges are 1 mile apart, over the Mekong in Kompong Cham.
The bamboo bridge is "temporary". It is built again and again each year and then "unbuilt" before the rain season... An incredible work....

I've been happily using a Canon G9 for years and when the 5D MKII body/L lenses are just too much to carry.

Perhaps I should upgrade to the newer G12?

This is one of my favs when I first got the G9 and shot this pic out of a small plane somewhere over Nevada. Quite a bit of turbulence too.

Wonderful Serge !

The G12 has mainly the advantage of the rotating screen and is supposed to have a better low light ability....

Jerome, Alberto beat me to the punch. I've been enjoying the Leica D-Lux 4 and would also suggest looking at the new version, the 5. And this from a Nikon SLR guy.

I've been very happy with my Panasonic ZS-7. obviously not as good as my Nikon D300 paired with my 2.8 lenses, but for those moments when convenience of a small camera are a plus, it works.

I always have it in my bag, so I never miss a shot... Well, almost never.

I recently bought a Canon S95 because I needed something that I can slip into a pocket without any discomfort. Yes, it lacks a viewfinder and it has a limited zoom range but I am amazed at the quality results.

Big fan of the Canon G9 - 12. Currently use a G11 with excellent results.

The photos in Tone are amazing - so I guess you know what you are taking about - and then some.
