Serge........A couple 2' x 4' x 2" thick absorption panels will do the trick on the side walls. They did miracles in my studio.

Those marvels can work in a rather small but well treated room.
I heard them a few years ago in such a room and they sounded very good to me.

Too heavy, chunky, and way too old-fashioned-looking for my tastes. 'Course my design sensibilities are likely a bit twisted because I actually love the looks of the Dynaudio Confidence series:



(the best-sounding room at RMAF last year, BTW)

That being said, I do like the look of these Tannoys....



Or better yet, the Zu Soul Superflys in Candy Apple Green...
