Just back from 2 weeks of travel and getting used to being retired again...time for music.
Piano Music of John Knowles Paine Christopher Atzinger, piano Delos (2019), via Tidal I had not heard of Paine before discovering this (through a Presto newsletter). Very pleasant music, and well played.

Copland: Fanfare, Appalachian Spring, Third Symphony
Minnesota Orchestra, Eiji Oue conducting Reference Recordings (2000), 16/44 files I have a half dozen or more recordings of Appalachian Spring, a piece I never tire of, and this is a very good one. I need to find a vinyl copy, methinks.
