Default How do you play internet radio from the laptop through the stereo?

I want to play internet radio from my laptop (no MAC) through my stereo (MA6900, MCD301). Is this possible and how?

Thank you for your advice!

Thanks! But is there a way to do it without another box? Just amplify the signal from the laptop?

I guess if you don't have sound card outputs that you can use, you can always try the mini headphone to RCA from Rat Shack. As long as your computer/laptop has headphone out that is...

An Airport express from Apple would also get it done for you.

I think.

But Serge is right, the cheapest way would be mini from computer to RCA in the back of you amp.

"mini headphone to RCA"

Yes, I do have a 1/8 inch headphone jack. Is there also a "USB to RCA" solution (I use a headphone for skype and plug it into a USB port)?

It will be mono, I understand?

USB can be buggy... Simplest and foolproof solution is the mini to RCA I would think. Be careful with levels when you first try it, turn both preamp and computer level down and gradually go up until you find out comfortable range. Headphone out is stereo.

This link is just a good source for general "computer audio" knowledge.
Lots of good info here.
