I have noticed the (Hum) stops if I take the coax off or I disconnect the HDMI cable without any power going to the cable box (unplugged).

Any chance its a poor quality HDMI? The one coming off the box looks pretty standard.

Edit
The answer was : NOPE!

It is a ground problem. Cable TV is notorious for this problem. Have you had a chance to try one of the filters mentioned above?

I put a wire touching my cable box and then touched a ground (screw on socket) and the hum stopped.
Cable man says its an electrical problem and broke gates out the Front door to his next victim..
I am not so sure its not a cable ground problem.

I ordered cheap filter to see if that works.

Glad it worked for you. Hum is the hardest annoyance to troubleshoot; let alone find it's cause.
