I am actually exploring using a DHT type line stage myself.
And Manley is a first class outfit. I had a Steelhead, and the customer service and responsivness was as good as it gets. I also exchanged emails over a comment in a review re grounding, and she and I spoke.
Enjoy your new preamp., Jerome.
Thank you Whart !
Yes, of course, it is not just the tube that makes the sound. Or anyone whould buy tubes and would make his own amp...

I do not understand german and it is too bad because there is a very detailed review of the 300B full system on the Manley site. They seem to love it a lot.
Elsewhere I read that pairing the 300B preamp with the 300B monoblocks was too much of a good thing....

Could be.....speaker choice will most likely be a concerning factor.

Don't how much I will like the 300B preamp.
But I do know that it is a pure pleasure to buy Manley gear. I'm happy to be a customer and support such a great company.

I really think it depends on everything else around it. Careful matching is in order. I can't wait for your impressions Jerome.

I would surely never use 300 B SET amps on the WP8's or the EB1i !

Indeed, Jerome.

Congratulations for this coming soon tube preamp. It would surely add 'something good' to your beloved W/P 8.
