My reaction is similar to Howard's. Overall I liked it but I'm a Krall fan. A very intimate performance with raw vocals. Well recorded as is most of her stuff.
I can see how it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

My copy is scheduled to arrive today. After all of the discussion here I am now quite interested to see what my impression is.

Diana Krall is a very accomplished pianist and an excellent musical artist.

Even better, she is outstanding to go see in concert. She has a very pleasant disposition, interacts well with the audience and has a knack for making people sit back and simply enjoy the music.

and.. she is a pleasure to look at as well.

I find her voice to be sultry, different and and sexy. There are very many singers who do sing better than she does, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy what Diana Krall does very well.

The 3-sided LP showed up today. Giving it a first spin and I have to say she sounds pretty darn good to me. Back to a more intimate DK. Well done Mrs. Costello!

Just listened via Tidal. Easy to listen to, well recorded and as I read here, a raw performance. At times it does sound like she looses her breath.

I enjoyed it.

Having listened to the LP on both my main and vintage rigs, I must say I really like it, well recorded and staged.
Regards,
Jim

We've seen her three times, have enjoyed her music and all the different types she's experimented with over time.

I really enjoy this new album, and do like the sound quality.

Any idea for digital download if the 24/96 or 24/192 is best?
