Ended up with a Sig P290RS
After LOTS of web reviews of various true pocket pistols in 9mm or larger caliber with a width of 1 inch or slightly less, I ended up with a Sig Sauer P290RS -- great reviews and I am a major Sig Sauer Fan -- the P229 in .40 caliber is my favorite handgun.
This P290RS is small enough not to print and will fire 9mm +P rounds allegedly with light recoil for a relatively small pistol and allegedly has the well-known accuracy and dependability of a Sig. (included were SigLite sights and Laser) MikeSp
