It may be that the car player needs embedded album art, or has a size limit on album art files. Can you check the files not showing art to see if they have embedded art, or if they have a large file size?

I think it is the file size. I downloaded software called Bliss and it didn't fix it right away. Everything is compliant for the most part. It did however allow me to download alternate size art and retag the files to reflect the new art. That fixed it, but I didn't know it was fixed right away because the way it was cached. I had to delete everything on the SD card and put it all back.

The art that didn't show was greater than 600x600. I replaced a 4000x4000 pixel sized art with 500x500 and that did it after the delete/rewrite chore.
