I recently heard the Ethos. I was very impressed. The bass was superb. It could not be faulted. I heard no discontinuity in the speaker. It was seamless.

We have been auditioning some Montis speakers for our listening room at TARA Labs. Fantastic speakers IMO.

I have the Montis and love them. They are the most transparent and balanced speaker I have ever owned. Currently driving them with the Prima Luna Dialogue Premium HP Integrated Amplifier but will be upgrading to the ARC Reference 5SE preamplifier and 75 amplifier soon. The Montis are very revealing so you will be able to hear the differences when you change cables, tubes or any other changes you make within your system. They have rejuvenate my love for music again because they let me see into the music. Highly recommended

Hi,

New to forum and was following thread on Montis re: thinking about purchasing. Am also looking for new integrated tube amp (just sold off my Bryston seperates and want to move into tubes). I have my eye on the PrimaLuna HP--curious what you plan to do with yours when you upgrade your system

Thank you sir! I have been a long time member of audiocircle and audiogon but just discovered this forum via dailyaudiophile--nice mix of topics and glad there is a dedicated ML forum (audiocirlce' planar forum is mostly focused on Maggies....which is fine).

Just curious if there is going to be a focus on PrimaLuna? I noticed the site owner, MasterLu? carries the brand.

I'm starting to my my old Theos and hope to talk my wife into a pair of Montis. I have that same PL amp, so I'm glad to hear it works well with these speakers.

Phew, you had me worried. I am just getting to know my Theos. Once in a while I start thinking I should have spent more on speakers (since I had budgeted more) but then they blow me away with great sound quality and looks.
