Metaphacts, So you landed before the Netherlands shipment... How many units have been manufactured in the initial production run? There's at least 2 sets out there + "the prototype" (which apparently differs as you have claimed) sitting in an Italian villa...

Yes. The CEO of Sonus faber is heading the launch.

Don't know how many pair were made in the initial run but I was told that the crate you are looking at is the highest serial number of the 4 pair (3 for dealers doing the launch, 1 for CES) we received.

There are multiple protos in the factory in different finishes/ design states. Most certainly look close to the final production.
