Default PMC Introduce the Specialist Systems Group

PMC INTRODUCE THE SPECIALIST SYSTEMS GROUP
PMC introduce a specialist group to service the demand for large scale reference monitoring systems worldwide.

PMC have experienced a significant increase in demand for large scale reference monitor systems worldwide and therefore have reacted by creating a special group to service the demand. The newly formed group will focus on all high end market sectors of Professional Recording, Broadcast and Custom Installation/Home Theatre and will be headed by Maurice Patist who will take the role Strategic Sales Manager. Patist’s previous post was President of Sales & Marketing at PMC USA based in Orange County, California and therefore will relocate to Europe for easier access to PMC’s HQ facilities. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that has been gleaned from a vast array of high profile installations he has instigated worldwide that include: San Francisco Symphony, Prince, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, TSR Switzerland, Teldex Studios Berlin, Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions LA, Benjamin Zander Boston Philharmonic to name but a few.

As with the majority of commissioned systems worldwide, the Special System Group will again draw upon proven external resources in the form of Jochen Veith of jv-acoustics, the premier acoustic design consultants and the highly skilled project integrator, John Goldstraw of Hathor Audio Ltd. With this level of internal and external resources available it will prove an ideal complement and a vital resource with its support to PMC’s global distribution network.

The main product focus will be on PMC’s MB2 and BB5 large active systems that include ultra low distortion PMC/ Bryston active electronics packages complimented by other innovative products in the PMC range such as the wafer™ in and on-wall series powered by the new ultra slim DS-001 power module. The facilities of the new specialist Systems Group will be used for all high level studio or consumer/CI projects where quality is paramount and compromise is not an option.

Thanks for the posting. Encourging to know that PMC's audio speaker business is apparently prospering. It always helps to have a product that professionals consider to be of high quality and better than much of competition.

Brian.......Thanks for the post. PMC's bread and butter has always been the professional market. I am pleased to see them going strong. Their PMC consumer lines have benefited greatly from what has been developed for the pro market. I hear it every time I energize my EB1i's. PMC means business, for sure.
