Thanks for that Mr DJ, and luscious indeed are your un boxings! As a newbie to hi fi, if not to music -I used to work full time in the business- I feel that clearly you know your stuff and i'll probably upgrade within the sony line- the 1000 can be got for just over £300 at the moment, which is chicken feed for a frequency range that goes from 5-80,000. is it near the top of your line ( bearing in mind you've got the top senheisser etc) ?
