This headphone is GREAT for Classical music. I am normally not a fan of that genre, but this Grado made it very enjoyable.

Keepers Fo Sho! It sounds great with other genres too, but Classical really shines IMO.

Michael,
Congrats on those great headphones ! I was about to buy tem but since it is only for music on the move with an IPOD, I went for the 325i. It is strange for a headphone lover who has so many headphones and lives in the US to get his first Grado's ones only now ! Grado makes my favorite headphones. I find others tasteless compared to the Grado's....

I have a meager pair of Grado SR60is but I love 'em. I got them at a blow-out sale at my dealers new for only $50. I have a good headphone amp for them though, a Grado RA-1. I can use these two in a fairly portable setup with my HRT MS II USB DAC, Macbook, and the RA-1....high-end on the road! It'll be going with me up to my sister's tomorrow for the holidays.

Well, give them a good a break-in...I hear they need 40 hours.
A friend who has had a no. of Grado cans says the sweet spot in the lineup are the RS225i's.
