I just read the Sopra 3 review in Stereophile. I mostly agree with what the reviewer says, although the review comes off as sounding just a bit lukewarm rather than as a rave review. There is a suggestion that these speakers need a large room to sound their best, although I get excellent results in my room, which is slightly larger than the reviewer's room.

In the Recommended Components, also in the same issue, the Sopra 3's get "only" a B rating. Personally I think they deserve an A. I've listened to some of the A-rated speakers in the listings, and I think the Sopra's are superior. To each his own.
