No one near me sells PMC. These (demos) are 5-6 hours away.. I do play a lot of rock & blues and sometimes will crank it up.. These are also the lowest price, less risk. Thanks, Jeff |

You might want to talk to Mike at Audio Classics. I bought new for < $5k. I tried with JL sub but found better bass w/o sub.

Went with the PMC OB1i's. May have them at the end of the week depends on how quick they ship. Will give impressions after arrival.

Jeff.......Congratulations, and welcome to the PMC clubhouse. You will love these speakers, I'm sure. Give them a good break in. My EB1i's opened up at about 200 hours. Looking forward to your evaluation. Happy listening.

Congrats...
I think with your huge amp and your music you made a great choice. What finish did you get? |

Hi All, apologies to slightly hijack this tread... but I am a new member and not able to create a new thread myself! Plus my question is related to the discussion
I currently have the FB1i's and have been looking to move up the the OB1i, PB1i, or EB1i models. I have found a second hand pair of OB1 (without the 'i') for 2500$ and already have a buyer for the FB1i lined up for $2000. What do you guys think? Will I miss the detail of the seas tweeter too much? Or will the midrange/low end of the OB1 bring the quality to a whole other level for $500? |
