Default Upgraded PC on TT?

I use an upgraded power cord on my turntable. The better the cord I put on the TT the better the musical quality I hear. I am not just hearing what I expect to hear either, my wife hears the difference and she has no idea what I am doing. I wouldn't expect to hear any differences between power cords since they are only powering the TT motor. I use an upgraded PC on my phono preamp and that makes sense to me. Does anyone know why there is an improvement in sound quality with a better cord going to the motor? Do you do the same? I have used a variety of PCs and the better the cord, the better the sound for me. i am going to keep using the upgraded PCs since I like the sound.

When I first purchased my Classic 3 I had an old PS Audio cable to I used that. Later I ended up having a spare Shunyata Black Mamba which I'm still using. Never did try the stock cord, maybe o will and see what I hear.

Don, I like your connection in the rear of the TT. With my newer Classic 3, I need to use a 90 degree coupler since the power connection is under the TT. It is tight under there. My old Classic 1 had the power connection in the rear also. I liked that arrangement better for larger cables.
