Imho D'Agostino momentum haven't the typical sismic bass fron Krell gear. They aso run cooler and the sound is a little bit more fast/analytic.

Anyway, you are talking about probably best amps ever made. You'll right with both of them.

Talking about Viola Bravo, one of my best friends has it with a Spirito preamp, really goood and sweet sound, but not for all publics... I prefer KRELL

I have been absent for awhile from the forums but figured I would chime in. I have been playing Krell EVO 1's through my Vivid Audio Giya G2's for a good 6-8 months. The EVO 1's are a very nice improvement over the 600's so I have been very happy.

I have been seeing a lot of positive reviews on the Momentums and would still entertain the A/B comparison if I can manage a demo in-house. Ultimately I would like to compare the D'Agastino Preamp with Momentum Monos against my current Krell EVO 707 with Krell EVO 1 Monos.

I imagine there would be some differences, but not sure it would be significant enough for me to make the switch. I will keep you posted if I can setup this comparison.

I am very happy with my current setup but always intrigued by new offerings... It appears Dartzeel is getting a lot of positive response here as well. My current focus is on the dCS Vivaldi...

I've heard Vivid speakers at several shows sound really good with Luxman amplifiers. At your price range have you had a chance to demo the luxman B-1000f monoblocks?

I have not had the chance to demo Luxman. A couple other have pointed out that I should add them to the mix given they are paired with Vivids at most shows. I will add them to my short list. Thanks for the note.

I know very well the G2 as my closest friend has one pair. I think that these speakers are soooo good that only the best source will do them justice. In consequence, I would vote for the dCS Vivadi DAC, as the most effective upgrade!

I agree with your assessment of the Giya's, but I am a bit biased... I am thinking the Vivaldi would get me the biggest sonic improvement as well. However, this would come at a cost. Currently using Memory Player 64 through Soulution 540 which sounds fantastic but Vivaldi would take it to the next level.
