This phono preamp is now being built on custom printed circuit boards using premium close tolerance parts, and should come to market in the near future. I am not at liberty to talk about it more than what I have said here, but it was a surprisingly clean phono preamp for a first off prototype.

mmmm......could that engineer be the infamous John Curl?

'cisco.......Nope. Engineering and audio circuit design is what this gentleman does just for fun, and that's only one of his multiple degrees. When his phono preamp comes to market I'll mention who he is.

I tried ordering the Pass Labs XP-15 in anodized black. Just got an email earlier this evening that let me know the XP-15 is only available in silver. It looks like silver will have to do.

One note, If the XP-15 is like the XONO, it is single ended, not balanced. the balanced are add ons to the SE output.

Wayne Colburn the designer told me to use the SE outputs for the best possible sound on the XONO.
Mark (from Reno Hifi) mentioned to me that while for the XOno single ended was better, for the XP15 the balanced out should be slightly better than single ended.
