The W/P 7 is an amazing speaker when auditioned on it’s own. Yes, I thought it was a little bit too forward with the bass in my room, but that issue was corrected with a slight adjustment of eq knobs on my c50 preamp. I was only unhappy with them when I A/B’d them next to something with a silk dome tweeter (Dynaudio esostar) and it was then they became “too bright”. I’m sure I’d find fault in my current speakers (and any speaker for that matter) if I A/B’d them against the latest offerings in a higher up product category.
