If you want SACD/DVDA/BD Pure Audio playback and don’t want to pay crazy money for the Oppo 205 now, get the Pioneer LX500.

Imho the AKM4490 sounds better than the Sabre32 9038Pro.

I will have to look into the Pioneer LX500, as i need a multiformat disc player, thanks.

You can update the software all you want (so far). It doesn't affect this function.
