OK Paul You convinced me to give them a try. Just ordered a set from Ivan. I will be placing them under the K03 as well. Right now I am using the stock feet.

Ed, I was using Rollerballs under my K-3 and noticed a big improvement in sound quality. If you are going from stock feet to Stillpoints your improvement should be even more noticeable. Good luck with the upgrade.

Hrrmmm, this is interesting indeed. I've heard folks say the opposite in favour of the Symposium RB over the Stillpoint Ultra Mini. I guess the mysteries of HiFi still continue to amaze me after all these years.

I wonder how the Ultra Mini's would fare against a more evenly matched Symposium Rollerblock Series 2+ set-up? I suppose they don’t call your previous Symposium Jr's Junior for nothing

I've got provisions on my Amps to accept the Ultra Mini's screwed directly into the bottom of the chassis and am currently shopping around for an isolation solution. I was already leaning about 95% towards the Rollerblock Series 2+ but could possibly still be swayed in the other direction in favour of the Stillpoints

Price is pretty much a wash so can't use that unfortunately

I abandoned all of my Symposium Rollerblock Series 2+ in favor of Stillpoints Ultra Mini's. My systems are very revealing, and the comparison really wasn't even close YMMV.

Interesting to hear of this direct comparison of the two products...Thanks for the info

I wonder if the Ultra Mini's could be used with any success as speaker feet under a Magico S3 in place of the factory spikes? The speakers only weigh 150lbs each and it looks like Stillpoints makes an adapter for this exact model

I can't stomach the cost of the higher end Stillpoints at the moment so this could be a way for a cheap audiophile to dip his toes into the water of the Stillpoints lineup assuming they could possibly work better then the spikes

I directly compared Rollerblock 2+ versus Ultra Mini under McIntosh MCD1100. The Mini won the battle but it was a close call. Mini are marginally better than 2+ and mini cost less! The SS and 5 are miles better than mini.

I actually had Symposium Rollerblock series 2+ under my K-03 and not the Jr's. The improvement with the Stillpoint mini's was amazing. For me it wasn't a close call, it was a significant upgrade that I could hear within 30 seconds.

Thanks all...I think I've been swayed towards the Mini for my Amps now
