Source first. But avoid Linn streamers. They sound not as good as competitors imho.

If it were me, I'd do the amp(s) first and then re-examine your source choice based on what you have installed.

Your entire system is limited by what you are feeding it in the beginning and can only be as good as that. If you are using your processors DAC as the source then absolutely SOURCE FIRST. The body is only as good as its food.

I would hit the AMP button, especially the D’Agostino, matched with your Wilson’s, especially with your claim of a great deal at hand

IMO, the AMP is the workhorse and will outlast the DAC in terms of technology - you can always circle back to the other pieces.

Lets hear your final decision when you make it - best!

Will do; btw, how do you like your PS Audio DirectStream DAC? I have been considering that but a little hesitate since my dealer (Definitive) doesn't carry them...

Default Linn Klimax

I use the Linn Klimax DSM Catalyst and love it.
It ourperformed dcs Rossini and Scarlatti during in-home demo.

Considering the fantastic synergy between Wilson and D'Agostino amps, that would be first on my list. In fact I was shocked how great D'Agostino sounded with Wilson after trying and auditioning quite a few others when I had Wilson speakers.
