I agree completely. ARC's practical designs have always been part of the appeal of the products. Sure, SQ matters most. But appearance is also a factor, and certainly influences a product's cost. In ARC's case, no $$$ is wasted on bling, so ARC products tend to have a functional beauty.

Currently I'm a satisfied VAC SigMKIIa pre owner but there always the itch. I'm shipping pre to VAC for SE upgrade in Feb/March 2016. Major change is replacing with all Statement level Lundahl transformers.

How many Hours do you have on your Amp now ? I have 60 on mine and did not notice much change in sound.
