I may be alone here but you are moving in the wrong direction power wise which is not a great idea with your speakers. I know people get hyped about class A but you are giving up headroom and power for bass

Used to own the same speakers (Mini & Mini2) myself for a couple of years, yes they certainly are one heavy load to move.
Did many many amps experimentation back then. Found that current and damping matter much more than huge wattage with them.

Have you actually tried/compared the A-200s to others?

A very beautiful set. Look gorgeous.
But I would suggest not to grill Dp900/dc901 like that.
If the shelf is solid, they will be a medium, if the shelf have cut out, they will be a well done.
A proper open air stand to make a natural cooling is best, as SS amp also need to reach correct operating temp as well.
Fan cooled may make them too cool for best sound, they need to be hot.

Brother's reply :
"Good one and makes sense.. But unfortunately due to room's space and decor, pulling rack out of cabinet is not an option for me. I'll have some fans installed asap, depth of cabinet is around 4 feet so there's quite a bit of air to move back there. If doing so still overcooks them, I'll just have to find some other pieces to BBQ.. My old dCS survived a decade long of grilling by Gryphon Antileon Monos, followed by Jadis JA200s then after which puts out enormous heat as well, but that was with an FE rack so only 'medium done' I guess? Will just have to cross my fingers on this one. The Accuphases are fairly new but is already sounding great, strikes that perfect balance for me between neutral and musicality. Thanks guys for some thoughtful suggestions".

A bit more difficult. Ok this is also up to his listening habit, if he plays it just one or two hours each time and turn on only
During playback, then it will not that bad, but if he turn amp and players on in the morning and off at mid night then

Just dropped by his place again. You guessed right, he turns system on for only 2hrs a day at most on average!
And usually for background music while he does some work with the meters reading 'held peak' rarely exceeding 10watts! (decently loud surprisingly).
His Study is about 4M x 6M. Amps were 'cruising' and merely warm to touch at end of today's listening session.
So I presumed with such usage, also considering the well cooled/conditioned room, he should do fine even without fans installed.

New Acccuphase owner here (well... for about 3 months). Managed to get a 1 year old E560. I have one question on Accuphase. It says in the manual with exclamation mark!, to use only the power chord that comes with it. But reading in this forum everyone using other power chords, which is normally the case. Any reason why Accuphase is so adamant about it?

no worries, you can use any decent powercord, at he moment I am trying a Ansuz POM powercord on my E-600, after only 7 hours it already sounds pretty good.
