I hope Esoteric brings us a reference one. My N100H will be doing its work until that happens.
I only tell that because if you are a spinner but you need a DSD dac to fully enjoy your Aurender i would keeped the K03 as transport and would go to the best dac you can afford now.
In the future i would put the P02X on my list.
All of this suposing you can't afford the K1.
All of us are constantly improving our systems and have to spend our money viewing the future needs.

Natcho.......Yes, even though I enjoy my music server I still like to spin my CD's and SADC's. I also agree with you about planning. Just buying gear without a goal doesn't make sense to me. Of course, no matter where you are today there will always be something new, amazing, and desirable in the pipeline to tempt us. Controlling purchasing impulses can be tough.
