Default Peter Frampton Acoustic Classics

Peter Frampton Acoustic Classics this is most all of the best of Mr. Frampton done recently over 2015 2016 and has just been released. There was a special showing that I highly recommend viewing on the Audience Channel on Direct on demand or the web. Here is a Youtube clip

Peter Frampton is joined on the show by his longtime musical collaborator Gordon Kennedy, who also will be accompanying him on his Raw acoustic tour.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fxp...=youtu.be&t=14

And from his site: http://www.frampton.com/audio/

The Audience 1 hr show has some great input, feedback, and discussion from Peter about the emotions, feelings, life experiences and most of all his desire and love of the guitar that goes into his creativity and life's work.

He truly is obsessive when it comes to the guitar. These songs done acoustically in a nice setting are clean and a very refreshing take.

Recording is at least a **** out of 5 star it is on red book CD and 2 album 180G, I have the redbook CD and have the record on order from his site with a limited edition signed music sheet Would be nice if we saw a HiRez download at some point too. Sure wish all the artist would get with the engineers and labels and make this happen.

I love the material so I am somewhat biased, but again I would say at least a **** and 1/2 out of 5 star.

Here is the full track list of Acoustic Classics:
"Fig Tree Bay"
"Wind of Change"
"All I Want to Be (Is by Your Side)"
"Show Me the Way"
"Lines on My Face"
"Sail Away"
"Baby, I Love You Way"
"All Down to Me"
"Penny for Your Thoughts"
"Do You Feel Like I Do"
"I'm in You"

He is touring this release this year with LYNYRD SKYNYRD which already has begun and the reviews are very very good

I recently purchased an audiophile USM Japanese CD remaster of "I'm in you" and was very disappointed in the quality of the mastering. It was so max'd there was almost zero dB dynamic range, and through any half decent hi-fi system it sounds terrible.

Having been burnt by so many supposedly audiophile releases of various albums now, I'm no longer looking forward to future audiophile releases of any of my favourite albums or artists.

Another very enjoyable Peter Frampton album is Fingerprints.

Interesting story he told about his friend in school, David Jones (Bowie). I have the Acoustic Classics on LP and do quite enjoy it.

Video insert sounds good.

I came across a Black Sheep Squadron rerun not long ago and Peter played the role as a forward British outpost in the show
