My Eggleston Works Rosa’s weigh 220 lbs each, damn near impossible to move. My Fontaine’s weigh 70lbs each and I’m sure you could fill the stand with 100+ lbs of sand or lead shot. You don’t necessarily need to make them heavier to keep them from moving. Industrial carpet tape (double sided extra sticky) could be put down under the speakers which would be very difficult to pick up and move Another option is to get a base to put speakers on and mark the floor with where the base should be (i.e. 4 marks at the corners that are only covered by the base being in the correct position...if she moves it, she now sees the “marks” on the floor) or, use carpet tape on the bases and use spikes with the speakers sitting on the bases. |

Some people I know have replaced spikes with the Isoacoustic Gaia feet and report massive improvement. This may be another option.
