Default Blue Glass Sophia Electric

Anyone try any of the blue glass 6SN7, blue glass EL34, blue glass KT88, blue glass Classic 300B and blue glass Aqua 274B tubes.

Curious on reviews? I run a Sophia in my headphone rig and from what I was told the Princess series is a better tube.

Running the 274B clear glass and 6SN7 in my WA6. Would also like to know if there is truly a difference in anything other than cost.

I have the blue 6SN7 in an Inspire amp. The reviews are spot on. I'm not sure if the blue glass has any effect though.

Expensive but worth it if it has longevity. My amp does not run it hard. Time will tell.

The EL34's are tempting. I have read they sound like a 300B. Maybe down the road for me.

Use their 6SN7s in my Woo headphone amp and think they are great. Also use their rectifier tube and think it is a step above, as well.

After our SEPAS get together this afternoon, Keith & Jim & I agreed that the larger envelope must help moderate the electron flow allowing our ears to instantly assimilate to the sound. At least that is the BS we came up with.
