Nah, you've got a DarTZeel that's coming to burn in, Joe...not to mention finishing burning the 911 Monos.

BTW, I read somewhere recently that one of the things that contributes to burn-in times are all the windings in the transformers in the power supplies, so it's not just caps.

I've found keeping a real log of hours is really helpful to know where you're at and where you've been. I'm expecting another quantum jump of improvement in the Pr350 in 140 hours or so...

I wish Burmester answered emails maybe it is a English to German problem or they are not that kind of company . The go thru the dealer only with questions.

My 111 developed heavy distortion on high freq range today, symptoms below. Any similar experience from other owners?

Symptom: High pitch guitar/voice/whistle is heavily distorted, rest of frequency spectrum is fine (mid/lowrange).
File tested: Livingston Taylor "Isn't she lovely" 16bit/44kHz WAV ripped from Manger CD
Test procedure:
1. Playback on 111 = Very distorted whistle. This file has been used for more than a year without problems.
2. Tested other files on 111 with vocals/acoustic guitar= Distorted
3. I copied the same file to a Mac and ran it via external DAC to Analog Input on 111= Clean sound.

Jan... I'm sorry to hear that. No, I haven't even heard of that issue. Rest assured Burmester will get it repaired, and not disturb your ripped music.
