Fred, that room size sounds about perfect to me, for speakers of this size & price range. I run Tannoy Canterbury SE at home. And 10' ceilings work great for me too! You should be a very happy man when all's done.

Thanks, I will use those dimensions as a starting point. We have not begun the build process yet, hoping to start sometime this year.

Update on my listening room. Plans are just about finalized, the listening room is now 13'10" by 19' with a 10 foot ceiling stepping up to 11 feet in the middle.

Sounds like a good room. That is similar to my setup but higher ceilings. Mine is 16 by 18 with 9 foot ceiling. About 8 feet apart and 9 feet away listening position. Curious how it comes out.

Looking at the latest plans, I see the builder has changed the ceiling height from 10' stepping up to 11', to 9' stepping up to 10'. Should still be OK but I will ask the builder about this when we meet with them this coming week.
