Ariens also recommended. Very dependable. Have had mine for 7 years. Did a great job this AM.

Just started my 2003 Ariens Model 8524 (932104) getting ready for the forthcoming snow season.
The electric start blew out a few years ago..........but starting is so easy with just a few pulls anyway. Plus I like its a USA company DESIGNED AND ASSEMBLED IN BRILLION, WISCONSIN. Ron

I bought a Honda 1332 a few years ago having owned 2 Ariens over the years one used and one brand new. The Honda was almost 3 times the price of a similar model Ariens but I find it money well spent. Especially when there's heavy slushy snow that needs to be thrown to the other side of the street. Both Ariens would choke on the slush but the Honda is almost comical how far it tosses it.

With the price thrown out of the equation I thinks it's a fair comparison since they're both motl 2 stage snowblowers from their respective lines.

If I was closer you could get a screaming deal on my unit. Top end Torro with 6 forward, 2 reverse electric start heated grips and halogen headlight. Paid $1550 + chains I never opened I would include. I think they were $65 each wheel set.
I have cleared snow deeper than the unit 28" deep no issues hard pack or fresh wet or dry snow. Much larger than this you get into the 32" width and commercial blowers etc. This is IMOP best of both worlds. only 1 year old. I am moving after 19+ years from Wy to Az, wont need it there Selling for $1000 must go. Maybe used it 5 times, looks like new. Power Max® HD 928 OHXE (38801)
