Do you mean no upgrade to existing speakers? Would be strange if they didn't keep the Q series up to date with newest tech. Unless they are creating a new series. Since Q, S and M have been used, maybe 'type R'?

There is an upgrade for the Q7 (Q7 MkII) that incorporates the newer technology in the Project M speaker

My guess is that there will be no upgrade path for the exisiting Q3/Q5 mk 1 models, but the Q3/Q5 mk 2 will see the light of day anyway.
Right now the 'budget' S7 has a better tweeter and midrange drivers than the more upmarket Q models. |
