Anyone use them? I have read that many upper end recording studios are fully wired with them. Thinking of trying them between source and amplifier and speaker cabling as well. Very cheap compared to what I am used to spending on audio cabling...thoughts or experiences?

You should give them a try...being you have nothing to lose cost-wise,compared to the big boy cables most of us use.

I think it would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

Will do. I'm not interested in fanning the flames of cable debate. I've owned way too many high end cables over the past 10 years ranging from Audioquest Earth and CV-8 speaker cables to full Nordost Heimdall 2 loom to MIT to full Transparent Ultra MM2 XLR/speaker cables and AES/EBU loom and all definitely make a difference. But, from my findings, it is more about finding synergy than it is about spending dollars. Synergy may require higher end or lower end. Just depends on your source amp and speakers. Just my opinion of course. Will let you know my thoughts. Plan to pick some up later today...

Not to my liking.
They seemed to warm the midrange up a bit and blurred or homogenized the low mid's and lows in my already fairly warm system.
I returned them.

Well you wouldn't have known what they did in your system, unless you had tried them.
"Nothing ventured...nothing gained"....or in this case homogenized music,as you put it.

I tried one of their digital coax cables and it sounded thin and dare i say it..homogenized. Great descriptive word Bavarian. So hard to find words that describe something as complicated as sound, but when you hear it you know it. I replaced it with AQ Forest which killed it, then later upgraded to AQ Carbon which is my current fave. One comment I read somewhere recently said that the popularity of Mogami cables in recording studios is one of the reasons so many current recordings sound so crappy. No idea if thats true, but I probably wont ever try one again.
