Ekornes Stressless Seating ordered for Home Theater today

I love my Ekornes Stressless Jazz chair and ottoman. It's perfect for listening to music. My friends call it my Dr Evil chair.

So far all I have gotten to do is sit in a display model on the floor.
Looking forward to getting in all the Stressless we ordered.
I'm hoping it will be delivered {Before} the New Runco & Integra gear.
So when they run the Audyssey XT32 it will be accurate.

Timing is going to be close on this.

It is a major difference if you were to see it in person.

Delivery,

Things are certainly looking up now.
Just received a call from my local Ekornes Stressless dealer, European Seating.
Tomorrow the Stressless double ottoman will be delivered.

Also and this is what I have really been wanting to know.
The two Alantic recliners & ottomans are scheduled to be shipped from the warehouse in NJ to local dealer the last week of Feb.
So the 1st week of March they will be delivered to us.

The hold up on the Alantic recliners has been this.
As you know the furniture comes from Norway.
The safety standards there called for a re-design of the base section on the recliners & ottomans.
They wanted them to be larger to control possible tip-over.
The warehouse in NJ has been waiting for those base sections to come in so they could install them and ship out the finished seating.

Now that has been handled and we will have the rest of the seating by 1st week of March.
That will only leave one thing.
The love seat comes with a Chrome Base.
We wanted all the legs/base plates to match so we wanted all in Black.
The Black base plates for the love seat come from Norway.
They will be here the middle of March.
That will complete the seating portion of the HT up-grades.

Then I can call Hi-Tech Innovations and schedule the install of the Audio/Video components.

Looks like, maybe, I might see my 1st Blu-ray movie the middle of March.


Good thing I am older as I don't think I could stand this wait if I was a younger fellow.

Hi,

Today was delivery day for the Ekornes Stressless "Double Ottoman".

Guys this looks pretty darn sweet.
I am really pleased with this now that it is actually in the HT.
Pictures don't do it justice.

I know some of you might be wondering what all the extra boxes and Rails to the Pull-Out are doing in place.
Waiting patiently for the install on the New Components.
So it is all going to stay right where it is for now.
