Default Another Stillpoints Advocate

I recently got a good deal on several sets of the classic, cone-shaped original Stillpoints with the five ceramic bearings, and presently have a total of 12 Stillpoints installed in my system.

The Stillpoints effect has been nothing short of amazing and transformative! Like others have reported, and I concur, you positively haven't really heard the potential of your system until you install Stillpoints under your components. Also, that Stillpoints have a cumulative effect --the more Stillpoints I have added, the more realistic sounding and involving my system has become. Now I understand why so many audiophiles float their whole systems on these marvelous little devices!

I'm about to post an account of my experience floating my system on the stainless Stillpoints and I couldn't agree more. They are the real deal when it comes to helping you achieve your system's potential! Ted.

Every review I've read about Stillpoints indicate they're a must-have for audiophiles. That said, what is the recommended approach regarding the size of components and which Stillpoints you use? A local dealer told me that for smaller components (like my Ayre QB-9 DAC), you should use the smaller Stillpoints whereas bigger heavier components should use larger ones. Is this the "right" approach in terms of expected results? Or should you buy the same size/product for all components?

That is basically correct; it is recommended to start with Stillpoints on your speakers first. Second would be power conditioners, and amps. Last would be pre-amps, processors, and sources.
