It's different speakers. The Tannoy is truly musical speakers rather than Audiophile speakers. Is it better ? For me ? No comparison.

Well then, congrats to the man who now has it all (at least in audio):

Beauty: Check! (Automotive finish? Hey, it's a speaker, not something that goes over 100 mph, is designed to attract babes, and gets parked in a garage)
Point-source coherence: Since 1947, Check!!
Super-high efficiency: 99dB/Watt without "optimistic" number-crunching or even the 4ohm sensitivity "trick", Check!!!
Full-range: Yep, all the way up and then down to 18Hz low, without powered subs or spec-sheet cheats, Check!!!!

Those are going to look sick when the walnut ages and darkens. Do you already miss your Canterbury finger inlays ()? Looking forward to sonic impressions. Take your time, but do post em!!
