Business idea .... become a US Accuphase distributor, as this one has pissed off much of the market in the US.

What a concept! Highly doubtful the US distributor would give up his gravy train. Sadly, it is apparent that Accuphase is content to just sit and watch this price gouging occur in the US - especially since MSRP in Canada is at least 35% less than the US at the current CND to US exchange rates.

No dog in this hunt but it appears from afar that Accuphase tries to protect its technology much the way Rolex does. Only Rolex service centers can order parts, replaced parts must be sent back to Rolex.

At least it seems like in time the service manuals slowly appear on the internet. maybe 10 years from now some generous soul will upload the PDFs
