Based on a discussion with My dealer and reading that the ST80 was built for the A95.

I saw quote on Facebook today.."you don't really own the album until you have it vinyl" I pretty much only buy vinyl and stream digital on tidal.

Thanks

I can tell you this, I had to pull the ST-80 SE out of my system temporarily and go back to the MC input on my C2500. Almost lifeless now to my ears. Can't wait to get it back in the system!

Tim - Curious if you received your Avenger yet? It been almost 3 months, you have been very patient. Did you order anything custom to account for the extended lead time?

I am very interested in this table, so would love to hear your experiences after you receive yours.

Hi
I had to have a custom shelf made for my HRS stand. And I upgraded to the reference table so now I'm having to dig a little deeper. I am hoping this is "a one and done " proposition. I should have everything squared away next week
New HRS double shelf
New cart (thinking A95)
Either a phono preamp or SUT
Avenger reference
2 P10's
Dust cover
Cables.

Now I am going to need to have a pro come help set it up. So, I don't think it'll all be ready for a bit yet. But when it is, I have warm fuzzies.

I am not a fan of VPI arms (even though I have one) because the cable goes through a Lemo connector, then RCAs out. That's too many connectors, when you consider the signal levels, especially with LOMCs. That's when replacing the terminal block on the VPI with a Bob's Devices terminal block makes sense, but it's not cheap!

I'm in the process of building a SUT using a couple of Beyerdynamic microphone transformers I got off eBay for $100 (keeping everything cheap), and using captive cords soldered at the SUT rather than yet another set of RCAs. All mounted in a small metal box I got from eBay for $20. If it works, great; if not, I'm not out a lot of money. The Beyers got good reviews on a couple of forums, so I'm hopeful.

I'm using a Koetsu Rosewood, and the SUT will be feeding an ARC SP9 Mk II.
