That 'Blad has the same Sony sensor that is going to be in the new for 2017 Fuji GFX that will sell for about $8000 including lens. And because Fuji makes the glass for 'Blad lenses, you know the optical quality will be as good.

Yup.

And when the Hassy X1D debuted last summer, they were very careful to point out that Fuji did NOT make the camera for them.

They probably should have had Fuji make it for them, though, because the X1D is still effectively vaporware. AFAIK, only Ming Thein has one (two, actually). Maybe some other Hassy Ambassadors.

Sorry for the bad pun, but boy, that picture caused a few flashbacks from younger days - road trip vacations with mom and dad in the front seat and the kids horsing around in the back, making sure you had the film cartridges and flashcubes, and the little square photos that seemed to take a week to get processed.
