Two KingRex II companions for the RR-777 landed today. 240v/12v fixed into 3a. I still don't get why these linear PSU are so difficult to source.

Steve... I agree, they were very hard for me to find here but it did get two of them.

Now that the tweak euphoria has worn off, I thought I'd quickly revisit this thread after some 5 months of using the Acoustic Revive RR-777 tethered to the KingRex MKII Linear PSU & XLR umbilical. (I've had the RR-777 for approx. 7-8 months overall)

Out of site & out of mind hidden on a ledge some 2m high up, powered on 24x7, it is something you forget about....well until you turn it off.

Watching SAT CATV with the surround processor primed, three McIntosh MC2301s pumping the fronts & the Denton POA-A1 pushing the surrounds, what has disappeared when it's blue light fades away after flicking off the KingRex power switch during a typical evening of relaxed viewing?

The room sounds a little dryer & flatter, less holographic, the high frequency decays are shorter & less transient. The subtle undertones in the lowest frequencies that accompany the mids are diminished. What could explain this? Perhaps the room pressure has dropped with the loss of its constantly coherent 7.83Hz conveyancing drone of silence...

Acoustic Revive tweaks boarder on the esoteric but one thing is for certain, the RR-777 really works even with silence. That might sound like a bizarre contradiction but inexplicably everyone prefers to congregate in the room even when the system is off. It's still a good vibe.

Steve, thanks for taking the time to provide an update on your experiences with the RR-777/King Rex Mk2 psu combo. I have the same combo purched about 1.9 meters off the ground also, though I have yet to do an a-b test with the resonator on/off...I don't want to (switch it off)!! I agree it gives off a good feeling (good vibe). My parents were around the other night to listen to some music, and have coffee and dessert & remarked at how good the sound was. Mum said the sound was "rich". Dad remarked on how "accurate" the sound was, and both agree it was a "good sound". More importantly, they both were happy. The Schumann resonance seems to have a calming effect. Have you noticed how you don't want to leave the room Steve? It definitely has a secondary health benefit.

Cheers,

Des... Apparently the REM-8 is a localised variant of the RR-777 designed for component EMI cancellation. What do you use it for? Do you have more than one?

Yoh S, Sits under the this

Does as says--not so prevalent with the TLO Drive supply though.

Only have one source SWMode-so only one RM-8

Add me to the list;

I tried the AR-777 and was astounded at how effective it is. I concur with the comments in this thread. In my system sound staging is improved a great deal. In particular guitars are sounding way more natural and edgy. This device brings you closer to the master tape. It is not leaving my room.

I am also experiencing that it has a calming effect, and I feel more energised, very interesting. Lets get in tune with the earth's natural resonance

Interestingly the Schumann Resonance shifted up an octave on 21 March and is now 16.32 Hz!
