It looks like Nordost Sort Kones are under all the equipment, and I have never seen Burmester use isolation devices in their own displays.

I'm rethinking my isolation devices, which is really a bit of an odd collection from over the years. So am always interested on what people are using under Burmester gear

Hi Masterlu,

FWIW, I am a huge fan of isolation...and I use HRS and Stillpoints Ultra 5s. I use HRS underneath my DAC and Preamp, but Ultra 5s under all my Power, Speakers and Transport. The interesting thing is the ideal (for me) is to use Ultra 5s with HRS nimbus couplers on top of them. Sometimes I found that Ultra 5s were brilliant (ie the best for me) in detail retrieval and unparalleled separation of individual musical lines...but I lost maybe '5%' of midweight in piano (middle C)...when I added the HRS nimbus couplers on top of the Ultra 5s...and THEN put the component on top...that midweight came right back with no loss of detail, information.

Additionally, I also use HRS dampers on all of the components. So each component is in its own isolation sandwich with isolation under and on top...this even goes for my Wilson X-1/Grand Slamms and Velodyne DD18.
