Although I've not been a member of AA long, I knew of Dan's influence. Now after reading this thread I’m aware of the kind of man he was and saddened that I didn’t have the chance to know him better. Thank you to all who have posted so Dan’s memory can go on. My prayers and sympathy go out to Pete and others like him that knew him better. May God’s grace get you through these hard times.

I am just learning of this. I will miss his posts in the McIntosh forum, they were always a great read. Condolences to all those that knew him.

Wow,
Dan was always fun to talk to. I called him maybe half a dozen times . He was always full of sage advice and always ready to troubleshoot my system over the phone. He told me what Whole home surge protector to buy and made sure I knew how to tell the electrician to install it the right way. I will truly miss him.

I haven't been very active on the forum for quite sometime and was shocked and saddened to read about Dan.
Dan sold me his 1968 McIntosh MA5100. Everything about Dan was class. My sincere condolences to all of you who knew Dan much better than me.

I just saw this about Dan. I really enjoyed all of Dan's reviews. He was a great writer and a great supporter of McIntosh products. He will be greatly missed. Very sad news indeed.

It has taken me so long to reply a simple post. I am in total disbelief. 1St Dan's wife, then Dan.. GOD at least they are tighter, but this site.. no offense to anyone, will never be the same !
GOD Bless you Danny boy and thank you and watch over us all, you were trues a great man and a good person to know and be known by.. GOD provide comfort to all your family and friends too.
