I learnt about bluegrass during a couple of visits to Tennessee and Alabama.
I love Alison Krauss, and heard some good acts in Nashville.

It's even popular in Belgium here, amongst a select public.

Very much a bluegrass fan but not of the fact it is trending so much to being religious over the past 15yr, or so. Some of the old artists like Roy Acuff, Larry McNeely and John Hartford are masters of their instruments.

We enjoy live bluegrass. If you're ever in Tennessee, by all means check out The Caverns—a jaw-dropping concert hall located deep underground. We're going to see Alison Kraus in April and other bluegrass shows during the year. Good stuff.

Peter Rowan in various bluegrass iterations.

Old & In The Way (which includes the aforementioned Mr. Rowan).

Billy Strings is an up-and-coming boy wonder.

Yonder Mountain String Band.

I am from the birth place of Country Music. I remember going to Steele's Creek in Bristol TN to listen to bluegrass. About as original as you can get.
