MA252 new tube integrated? Going to happen?

The only info I have is it will be reasonaly priced (to compete against amps like Primaluna), a full size chassy, and will be out sometime in Sept.

Not sure if I'm going to wait around any longer for this to maybe happen.
I listened to a Primaluna tube integrated last weekend and it sounded FANTASTIC. Thinking hard of pulling the trigger on a PL unit.

Well......... the MA230 was solid-state pre- and tubes output and the MA5100 was all solid-state. Not a "looker". Will guess that it is a 'life-style' piece destined for 'Asia, only'.

It looks like the MA252 has been revised somewhat since earlier in the year. I went to the Tokyo International Audio Show 2017 this past weekend (in fact a few hours ago) :-




Singled ended only inputs and output. No further details.

I am still not feeling this design concept, not even a little bit. It appears the chassis is the same metal work as a MC275. Not exactly original thinking in my opinion. The two knobs protruding from the stainless metal look out of place. The tube cages are hideous. It is going to have to sound damn good to be the ugly duckling and actually sell.
