Wow, I am going to have to look into those. Looks like the DTCD measurement technology that Caelin Gabriel is developing is enabling Shunyata to design some very high-performing products. Also heard that the new Triton and Talos power distributors are markedly better performing than the pre-DTCD generation of products. I keep wondering how that's possible, but then I think back on how much better my Hydra 8 was over my Hydra 4. It was a component-level improvement.

I'm rethinking my entire 2CH side. I've heard some impressive feedback on the Anaconda Speaker cables.

I would like to learn more about the spec though. Yes there is something special built into the connectors... Although Zitron Anaconda is their reference level, they are apparently unshielded! The lack of RFI/EMI shielding is stated for performance reasons. I find this questionable. Shunyata suggest that if this is a concern, go for the lower priced Python instead. From what I can gather, the step up to Anaconda is all about the gauge.

In need to ask the dealer questions & get my hands on eval product...as it's all new & there is not a great deal of info & feedback yet.

Just call Shunyata and ask for Grant or Richard and have them explain it to you. They're accessible and very helpful by phone.

Have you tried or considered the Sidewinder VTX power cord?
