I was thinking of starting a few new posts for music.

A Jazz Club to talk about jazz, and the same for Blues, Rock, etc.

A place where you can talk about what your listening to in that genre,and why you like it or don't.

What do you think?

Chuck.......I like the idea. I had thought about that yesterday, but with so much activity going on, and the programmers working overtime to massage the site into one we are familiar with, I didn't bring it up.

I have been turned on to a lot of new music through forum converstaions. It is a good thing.

I think it would be a good idea, especially if when someone posts they could note what they like about a specific song, cd, etc.

Myself, I don't get jazz. It is not that I do not like it, or that I do not have a few discs, I could use some help understanding what someone else is hearing or getting out of it.

Just a long list of songs does not really help us.

sounds good to me. I listen to most anything except rap and this new country `pop` stuff thats the rage.

I absolutely agree! Threads for the Genres! We have to start one for metal though, out of fairness for those that thrive on such things.
