Yeah Pider, that's a nice post. If you think about it, maybe that's what being an "audiophile" (I actually prefer the word enthusiast)...and loving the gear along with the music...is all about; maybe it's just yet another way to interact with the music we love in the first place?

I've met "audiophiles"...who spent $1,000 on gear, for every CD they own; in other words, $50,000 rig...50 CDs. To each his own, but that's just not right to me.

Trust me...no one elected me arbiter of "the club"; but you won't impress me with your gear, unless it's also playing something I can see you're passionate about.

Or..."it's all about the music".

The XEO system was named a "star" of CES by What Hi Fi, along with new products by some other brands popular on the forum:

Thanks PC! Back in the office for the first time in 10 days yesterday and man was there a lot to catch up on! The XEO system was a blast and I was blown away at how good wireless audio can be. The Focus 260's with the T+A Balanced inegrated and T+A Balanced Music Player took my breath away as it did many others that listened. The C-4's were, well C-4's and they were incredible being driven by the new Octave RE290 stereo amp with KT120's and the Octave HP500SE Pre-amp with the T+A SACD player and Clear Audio turntable.

Welcome back.

Now, T+A. Is that a product or a reference to the famous song from Chorus Line?

Welcome back, Mick! Must be nice to relax a bit after CES!
