If black was the only color it came in, I wouldn't have purchased a pair no matter how good they sound.

I generally much prefer silver over black for my components, but that is one of the best implementations of the black color scheme I've ever seen in a component.

I definately like the black version better and with those stands I think they look superb.

I find the black and copper contrast far more appealing. I am not moved by the silver and copper, but the black and copper combination is visually striking to me. I like it, and the amp stand, too. I think a black amp stand under a silver amp might make an interesting contrast as well.

Dan - I agree. The combination of the black and copper looks very nice. Clearly making a statement. I realize not for everyone, but it does look cool.
